Satoshi Shelf is a small, independent store for practical digital downloads. Pay in Bitcoin over Lightning, get the file, and keep it. No account, no card, and no email required.

What this is

The shelf holds 179 products across 20 categories: spreadsheets, templates, contracts, Python scripts, browser tools, planners, and games. They are built for people who want a useful file without a subscription, a marketplace account, or a checkout that asks for more information than the sale needs.

Every product has a free 12-second preview so you can see what you are buying before you pay. Product files are private; the public storefront does not expose the downloadable archives.

Why Bitcoin

Bitcoin makes a small direct sale possible without a card processor in the middle. That matters for three reasons:

• Access. A buyer with a wallet can pay from anywhere, even when a card is unavailable or a processor does not serve their country.
• No account. There is no signup, no password, and no customer profile to manage.
• Direct settlement. Lightning payments settle to the store's wallet through its LNbits backend. The checkout does not hold a customer balance or require a top-up.

It also has trade-offs. Lightning payments are irreversible and the buyer pays any routing fees. The on-chain fallback is public and slower. A hosted LNbits instance is a third party that can see invoice metadata; self-hosting removes that dependency. The guides document the payment flow, the failure modes, and the decisions behind the store rather than pretending those trade-offs do not exist.

How delivery works

1. Open a product page and choose Pay with Lightning.
2. The checkout creates a Lightning invoice with the exact amount and shows a QR code.
3. Pay from any Lightning-enabled Bitcoin wallet. An on-chain address and txid verification remain available as a fallback.
4. The store checks the invoice server-side and unlocks a short-lived download link when it settles.
5. The file is yours. There is no expiry on the product itself and no subscription.

If a payment settles but the download does not unlock, message @xsaifsaifx on Telegram with the product name and the Lightning payment hash (or the on-chain transaction ID if you used the fallback).

What we do not do

• We do not require an account or an email address to buy.
• We do not ask for card details.
• We do not install analytics, advertising pixels, or account-tracking scripts.
• We do not promise anonymity. Lightning invoices are not published on-chain, but the store's LNbits backend can see invoice metadata; on-chain fallback payments are public. The store avoids collecting unnecessary customer data.

Who runs it

Satoshi Shelf is run by Saif. It is an independent project, not a marketplace with a support department. The storefront is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages, and the product files and payment verification run separately from the public pages. That keeps the store light, fast, and free of an account database.

The best way to reach a human is Telegram. Product questions, broken files, and custom-work requests all go to the same place.
